This year's 2024 Seokchon Lake Luminarie Festival will be themed‘Dream, Universe & Love’. Just hearing the name evokes a feeling of warmth, light, dreams, and love, doesn't it?

Seokchon Lake Luminarie: What Makes It Special?

Luminarieis more than just a simple lighting event; it's a festival where light is used to create architectural structures and express works of art. At Seokchon Lake, various sculptures and photo zones will be set up to enhance this light art experience.

2024 Key Highlights

1. Main Gate

• Located at the entrance of Seokchon Lake's East Lake, the main gate will be a magnificent structure that instantly immerses visitors in the festival atmosphere.

2. Luminarie Tunnel and Bridge Gate

• Tunnel-shaped light sculptures and bridge gates will be installed along the walkways connecting the East and West Lakes. Experience the magic of walking along a path of light.

3. Lake Decorated by You

• Messages submitted through a pre-event public competition, aligned with this year's theme,‘Dream, Universe & Love’, will be reborn as LED lights illuminating the lake. These community-created sculptures will add a special significance to the event.

4. Photo Zones and Landscape Lighting

• Various photo zones, including deck photo zones, firefly paths, and laser roads, will be set up along the walkways. Each photo zone will have its own unique atmosphere, so don't forget to take pictures!
